It's been a pretty long time since I've posted an actual image here and I figured now would be a good time. This one is still in progress and has been for a while. I like the details but the image itself is too static. At this point I'm not sure I can fix that without changing everything though. If anyone has suggestions for me I'd love to hear them!
how about making a foamy sandy sea at the base of the pyramid?
ReplyDeletebut, i gotta tell you, i love the breath and the aura of power around the cobra! that's got movement. and i like the simple lines and shading of the pharoah's face. the sky is great, too. it gives the image depth. but the pharoah and the pyramid look a little close... or should they? perhaps some foamy sea (with green from the curtains??) would separate things a bit? or are you thinking of getting rid of the green? i think something else could go there, but i don't have any good ideas.
but what do i know...
